This vineyard was founded by the templars in the 13th century. The current owners have brought the wine back to its former glory, and dotted the 93 hectares of grape growing land with sculptures from over 50 international artists.

Armed with a map, visitors are welcome to walk or hire a golf buggy and explore the grounds. The current owners, Philippe Austruy and Valérie Bach, have shared their beautiful collection with visitors to the vineyard to enjoy.

The combination of provincial French buildings, countryside, and wine is a wonderful setting for to enjoy the art, which includes pieces by Gavin Turk, Victor Vasarely, Antony Caro, and Jean Dubuffet. An indoor gallery space was added to the grounds in 2016 to house the more fragile works, and to the design of Charles Berthier, are a striking contrast for its contemporary use of materials in architecture.

To view the gallery you do need to make an appointment or join one of the guided tours. You can stay overnight and the restaurant serves up local fair to compliment the wine. Valérie Bach is also the owner of La Patinoire Royale gallery in Brussels.
